12 And for the angel of the church in Pergamum, write these things: “The one having a sharp, double-edged sword says, 13 ‘I know where you live—where the throne of Satan (is)!—you continue both clinging to My name and not denying My faithfulness even in the days of Antipas, My testifier, My faithful one, who was killed in your presence, where Satan lives. 14 But I (am) against you a little because there, while beginning to cling to the teaching of Balaam, who was teaching Balak to throw a stumbling stone before the sons of Israel to eat idol meats and to be sexually immoral. 15 Thus, you yourself also are beginning to cling to the same teachings of the Nicolaitans. 16 Therefore, repent! Indeed, if you do not, I will come to you with quickness and I will make war with them by the sword of my mouth.’ 17 The one having ears, let him hear. What does the Spirit say to the churches? ‘For the one overcoming, I will give him hidden manna and I will give him a white stone, and upon the stone a new name written, which no one knows except the one receiving (it).’”
