Big Idea: The end of the year is a good time for reflection and course-correction.

Problem: We tend to see our own lives through a distorted lens.

Solution: How can we be honest with ourselves?

1. Confront your preconceived notions about yourself.

2. Ask yourself: “Do I want to repeat the patterns and behaviors of this year?”

Response: Three areas we take inventory in:

1. Physical: “The temple of the Holy Spirit.”

2. Emotional: Look for the signs of emotional health.

3. Spiritual: “Let us examine our ways and test them, and let us return to the Lord.”

Takeaway: Wisdom comes from reflecting on our past and applying the lessons we learn in the present.
