· Sin has created a brokenness in our souls

· The brokenness starts with our broken relationship with God – it affected our identity and purpose

· Our brokenness sends us on a journey of trying to find that sense of identity and purpose

· We journey away from our identity and purpose being found in God and seek it in the ever-changing world of emotion and circumstance

· Our brokenness brings pain, confusion, despair and more brokenness

· Jesus came and died to forgive, heal and restore us (1 Peter 2:24)

· Jesus does not want you to continue in your brokenness and dysfunction (John 10:10)

· Our soul’s brokenness runs deep, so the journey of complete healing and restoration can be long and difficult

· We also have an enemy of our soul who fights against the healing, he wants you to live in the lies (2 Corinthians 10:3-5)

· Our physical brokenness can often affect our soul too

· At salvation Jesus begins that process of restoration (2 Corinthians 5:17; Romans 8:29)

· He gave us His Spirit and His Word that we may live in truth and healing (Romans 8:16-17)

· Jesus also gave us brothers and sisters for the journey
