Miracle Offering Launch

1 - NOW = STEWARDSHIP = OUR BUILDING
Now links the taking care of and stewardship of what He has graced us with.
We have a strong understanding of the miracle of God’s provision in the past and how we are called to steward the miracle Now.
We understand our defining moments. We understand we are called to steward the moments and miracles.
These understandings draw us to take great delight in taking care of our building.

It's our desire to steward the NOW to make room for future provision and miracles.

We are believing that our collective contributions to the Miracle Offering will see a minimum $10,000 of works being completed on the outside office building, guttering and fascias.

Matthew 25:14-30

2 - Loan (Future) FUTURE = MAKING SPACE MISSION & VISION = LOAN
Future Walking toward the vision Making space for the mission and vision to grow

We have been called and mandated to share the good news of Jesus.
By paying our loan down we aim to be ready for the future things that God has planned for us. This is about being ready to make space for future growth, buildings and spaces for the mission and vision to outwork.

We are believing that our collective contributions to the Miracle Offering will see a minimum $10,000 being paid off the loan on our buildings and property.

3 - Church Planting (Expansion) EXPANSION = COMMISSION = CHURCH PLANTING
Commission “Expansion” “ - now, future

We were born from a church plant! Because of those who went before us responded to the commission to go, Gateway was planted.

We have a strategy to outwork church planting by starting with popup services in four strategic locations across our region. These popup services will be midterm, where all of our connect groups will join for an all-in connect night but be on mission to reach a location. This is about us using what we already do to reach more people together.

We would like you to be part of our invitation strategy. We will use social media, local community advertising and letterbox drops to help reach people (Facebook, Instagram, Letterbox, Local Paper). But there is nothing quite like a personal invitation by reaching out to friends, family members, work colleagues and neighbours in the area or even outside who may not come to a Sunday service.

As part of the strategy, we would like to start small groups in these areas if there isn’t one currently to build toward extension services and church locations that are planted.

We are believing for a groundswell of collective commission from our church.

We are believing that our collective contributions to the Miracle Offering will see a minimum $10,000 put toward purchasing the required tools and venue hire for popup services.

reach more people together
There is no compulsion or pressure to contribute. Rather we exercise the heart of getting the choice to contribute.
If you choose to contribute, you are choosing to seek God and ask Him what it is He would have you contribute.
It’s the Quality of the seed, not the size of the seed that determines it’s fruitfulness.
Parable of the Three Servants (Matthew 25:14-30 NLT)
14 “Again, the Kingdom of Heaven can be illustrated by the story of a man going on a long trip. He called together his servants and entrusted his money to them while he was gone. 15 He gave five bags of silver to one, two bags of silver to another, and one bag of silver to the last—dividing it in proportion to their abilities. He then left on his trip.
16 “The servant who received the five bags of silver began to invest the money and earned five more.17 The servant with two bags of silver also went to work and earned two more. 18 But the servant who received the one bag of silver dug a hole in the ground and hid the master’s money. 19 “After a long time their master returned from his trip and called them to give an account of how they had used his money. 20 The servant to whom he had entrusted the five bags of silver came forward with five more and said, ‘Master, you gave me five bags of silver to invest, and I have earned five more.’ 21 “The master was full of praise. ‘Well done, my good and faithful servant. You have been faithful in handling this small amount, so now I will give you many more responsibilities. Let’s celebrate together!’ 22 “The servant who had received the two bags of silver came forward and said, ‘Master, you gave me two bags of silver to invest, and I have earned two more.’ 23 “The master said, ‘Well done, my good and faithful servant. You have been faithful in handling this small amount, so now I will give you many more responsibilities. Let’s celebrate together!’ 24 “Then the servant with the one bag of silver came and said, ‘Master, I knew you were a harsh man, harvesting crops you didn’t plant and gathering crops you didn’t cultivate. 25 I was afraid I would lose your money, so I hid it in the earth. Look, here is your money back.’ 26 “But the master replied, ‘You wicked and lazy servant! If you knew I harvested crops I didn’t plant and gathered crops I didn’t cultivate, 27 why didn’t you deposit my money in the bank? At least I could have gotten some interest on it.’ 28 “Then he ordered, ‘Take the money from this servant, and give it to the one with the ten bags of silver. 29 To those who use well what they are given, even more will be given, and they will have an abundance. But from those who do nothing, even what little they have will be taken away. 30 Now throw this useless servant into outer darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’

dictator or provider
Our heart to do well with what the master gives us.
Scared and fearful or privileged to operate and outwork His riches
God has plans and responsibility for us all
The greater the trust,
the greater responsibility.
The greater the responsibility,
the greater the opportunity.
Matthew 25:23 New Living Translation (NLT)
23 “The master said, ‘Well done, my good and faithful servant. You have been faithful in handling this small amount, so now I will give you many more responsibilities. Let’s celebrate together!’
Through our words we can bring the power of God and take hold of the victory that has already been won for us.
