What does music do?

Effects our mood.

Music prepares and opens us up to experience God.

Praise is about making declarations about who God is.

Worship is a deeper connection with God where we not only communicate to God, but we commune with Him as well.

Praise enthrones God on our lips, but worship enthrones Him on our hearts…

Worship is more than a monologue where we say we bless you, we love you… but when we give God a moment, and give God room, He wants to speak to us too. These are the moments that I think in worship, that lives are really changed, this should be our goal.

Music and singing in church inherently drives us toward unity.

He is our Maker of music, each life, like each note, has a specific purpose and duration and serves to make His song complete. Our job is to stay in tune and allow Him to play as He sees fit.
