Problem: We aren’t focused on Jesus’ mission to seek and save the lost.
Solution: We’re the people of God on a mission with God.

Purpose: From the beginning, God’s purpose in creation was to enjoy an eternal relationship with people.
Problem: A problem quickly entered the story when people disobeyed God and sinned, causing there to be a separation between people and a Holy God.
Plan: God, rich in mercy, enacted His rescue plan to save people.
Promised One: After 100’s years with many twists and turns, God’s rescue plan culminated at just the right time with the birth of Jesus, the Promised One.
People of God: Anyone who recognizes their need for a Savior and comes to God through faith in Christ, is saved. They are delivered from the penalty of their sin, and they are adopted into the family of God, the people of God.

On a mission with God

On that day, Jesus entrusted His mission to the eleven.
Today, Jesus is entrusting His mission to us.
Our vision is to be an inviting church that leads people into a growing relationship with God and others.
How will we accomplish our vision?

Our mission, the mission that Jesus has entrusted has to us, is to seek and save the lost from an eternity apart from God to an eternity with God.
