Prayer Guide:
Father, I confess that at various times in my life I have made wrong choices and believed the lies I was told about my finding fulfillment in the area of my sexuality. I have chosen to walk the wrong path and ask you to forgive me for the wrong choices I have made [take a moment to ask the Holy Spirit to bring any specific choices to mind and confess them as he does]. I agree with your truth about how to walk in wisdom in this area of my life and ask you to help me walk wisdom’s path. I renounce all past sexual activities outside of marriage and all inappropriate sexual relationships. I ask you to cleanse my memories, heal the wounds I’ve experienced, and forgive me.

I ask You to break all ungodly ties that have been established between me and those with whom I’ve compromised my sexual integrity. I cut off those links to others in the name of Jesus and ask You to remove any and all influence of these people in my life. From this moment forward I choose to walk the path of wisdom in freedom and forgiveness. Thank you for forgiving me. Since you have already forgiven me, I now choose to forgive myself. Thank you for the freedom you bring. In Jesus’ Name, amen.
