Have you ever forgotten something important?

God realizes that we are often forgetful of what he has done for us, so he helps us to remember.

Memorials exist for two reasons:
As a reminder of what has been done on our behalf.

As a warning to not repeat the mistakes of the past.

When we pause to remember who God is and what he has done in our lives, it reminds us where our hope comes from.
