Before worship gets started, we'd like to remind you of a few things:
Please silence your phones.
Remember to check in to Broad Street Church of Christ on facebook and like, comment on, and share the livestream from today.
As always, please invite your friends and family to worship with us. Studies have shown that almost 80% of people will agree to attend if you invite them to church.

Below are all the resources available to parents with children for worship.
Bible Buddies - stuffed animals for your child to take into worship with them.
Children's Bulletin - weekly bulletin for 6 to 12 year olds to help them stay focused on God during worship. These are located on the left-hand table at the main entrance. If your child puts their name on their completed Children's bulletin and places it in the crate in the lobby, they will be entered into a drawing at the end of every month for a prize.

PASCHAL GREETING
"Christ is risen!"
"He is risen indeed!"
PSALM 138
1 I give you thanks, O Lord, with my whole heart;
before the gods I sing your praise;
2 I bow down toward your holy temple and give thanks to your name for your steadfast love and your faithfulness,
for you have exalted above all things your name and your word.
3 On the day I called, you answered me;
my strength of soul you increased.
4 All the kings of the earth shall give you thanks, O Lord,
for they have heard the words of your mouth,
5 and they shall sing of the ways of the Lord,
for great is the glory of the Lord.
6 For though the Lord is high, he regards the lowly,
but the haughty he knows from afar.
7 Though I walk in the midst of trouble,
you preserve my life;
you stretch out your hand against the wrath of my enemies,
and your right hand delivers me.
8 The Lord will fulfill his purpose for me;
your steadfast love, O Lord, endures forever.
Do not forsake the work of your hands.

Join our prayer leader in talking to God this morning. Consider the A.C.T.S. method of praying: Adoration, Confession, Thanksgiving, and Supplication.

At Broad Street we think it's important to read the word together. If you're able, please stand while we honor God by publicly reading his word.

Each week we take up a collection of money to support the work the church does here in LaGrange and around the world. If you're visiting with us, do not feel compelled to give. If you have a prayer request, please fill out one of the prayer request forms in front of you and place it in the collection plate when it is passed around.

Every week at Broad Street we encourage our children to go up front for a special children's worship time

Below is the responsive reading that will dismiss us to our refreshments in the gym. The reader will speak the unbolded words and the church will speak the bolded words.
PASCHAL GREETING
"Christ is risen!"
"He is risen indeed!"
OUR FATHER
"Our Father in heaven,
Hallowed be Your name.
Your kingdom come.
Your will be done
On earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our debts,
As we forgive our debtors.
And do not lead us into temptation,
But deliver us from the evil one.
For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen."

Today's sermon will focus on how Jesus defeats death, the last enemy, and what that means for you and me. Below are all the scriptures from the sermon in order.

We celebrate the salvation of Jesus every week by taking the bread and the cup together as a family. This week is especially exciting because we remember the resurrection of Jesus today and recall his words that he will eat it with us again in his kingdom.
