One of the most significant characters in the entire Bible is the Old Testament character, David. From a mere shepherd boy to the greatest King of Israel, David blazed a trail unlike any other! In fact, David is given perhaps the greatest compliment any human being has ever been given—that he was a man after God’s own heart! And yet, David was as human as any of us, filled with all the emotions and challenges of life that we face. How can we be a person who is described as having a heart for God, no matter what challenges and emotions we are currently going through?
