Welcome and thank you for visiting Union Grove! It is always our pleasure to open our doors to those who wish to worship with us and it is our hope that you will continue to do so – as a member or a friend. The pastors and leaders of Union Grove do not have the ability to change your life, but we know someone who does, our Lord and Savior Jesus-Christ, and would love to share Him with you, your family, and your friends. You can always expect to be welcomed, uplifted, and rejuvenated through our Spirit-filled services. It is our hope that you were blessed today with uplifting praise and worship and a profitable message.
Our desire is to see our community impacted with the Gospel of Jesus-Christ and we have a wide variety of outreach ministries to fulfill this vision. I invite you to take a moment to read through this folder filled with pertinent information regarding our beliefs, vision statement, and ministries. Ephesians 1:21-23 NIV
Ephesians 4:3-4 NIV
God's will is to see everything submitted to Jesus
You are forgiven.
We have all sinned and what we deserve is eternal death. Instead, through the blood of Jesus; you have been forgiven. Not only have you been forgiven; but you have been forgiven according to the riches of God’s grace. When God forgives, He forgets. Christians are told to confess their sins to God; and He is faithful to cleanse them of all unrighteousness. When you do this and then commit the same sin again; it is a brand new sin to God.
Ephesians 1:8 (NIV)
“That he lavished on us with all wisdom and understanding.”
In Christ…
You are given wisdom and understanding.
Having knowledge is one thing; but having wisdom and understanding is completely different. Wisdom is using the knowledge that you have. If you need wisdom in how to deal with something; ask God. You have not because you ask not.
Ephesians 1:9-10 (NIV)
“And he made known to us the mystery of his will according to his good pleasure, which he purposed in Christ, to be put into effect when the times will have reached their fulfillment--to bring all things in heaven and on earth together under one head, even Christ.”
In Christ…
You get to know the mystery of God’s will.
On your own, you will not understand anything of God. The idea of knowing what God’s will is, is unreasonable. Please notice that God’s will is according to His pleasure. He chooses what He does and when He does it. God’s will is to bring us together as one, in Christ.
The Power of Jesus in you has the authority to overcome anything
A closer relationship with God…Requires open eyes of the heart.
1. Knowledge of the hope that God has called you to.
2. Knowledge of your rich inheritance in Christ.
3. Knowledge of your power in Christ.
A closer relationship with God…Requires that you depend on the power of God.
The power of God…
1. Raised Jesus from the dead.
2. Sat Jesus at the Father’s right hand.
3. Placed Jesus as the Head of everything.
Unite with other believers to magnify Jesus
Where there is no alignment, the anointing cannot flow freely and the supernatural is hindered.
