Guatemala Fundraiser
Join the Guatemala missions team in a Chili Cook-Off! TONIGHT from 5:00pm-6:30pm prior to the Worship Night Service, we will be having a chili contest to help raise money for the Guatemala trip on June 22-30. If you would like to sign-up to participate in the contest, please email brittany.mcgaffin@gmail.com or Joan Stevning at jestevning@gmail.com. Everyone is welcome to come and enjoy the chili! Worship Night
Join us for a night of connecting to God through worship, featuring the Urban Fields band led by Justin Martin TONIGHT from 6:30pm to 7:30pm. Child care is available for children age 1 to 5 years old. Come early and enjoy some chili at the Guatemala Mission Team fundraiser.
New Women's Study
What is the deep cry of your heart? The ache in your soul that keeps you up at night? The prayer you keep repeating? Jesus not only cares about this deep, spiritual wrestling, but He also wants to step in and see you through it. Lysa TerKeurst takes us to the streets of Israel to explore the seven I AM statements of Jesus found in the Gospel of John. Through this interactive, in-depth study we will be trading feelings of emptiness and depletion for the fullness of knowing who Jesus is like never before. Sr. High ThreeSLI Conference (9th-12th Grade)
We are inviting students in 9th-12th grade for a weekend retreat/conference called ThreeSLI on March 8-10. This fun and engaging weekend conference is a leadership intensive event designed for high school students who sense a call to ministry leadership or who desire to lead in their school, workplace, and community. Get Connected
GroupLink is a 90-minute event that takes place this Saturday, March 9 at 4:00pm, where you meet people in a similar stage of life & area of town with the goal of forming a Community Group. We will have people there to help you navigate the process of meeting others and forming a group.
When you register to attend GroupLink, we’ll ask you some questions to help us match you with an initial connection comprised of people who have similar group preferences. If the logistics of this group work for you, great! If they don’t work for you, we will help you find a different group. We don’t assign you to a group. Veteran’s Ministry
Are you interested in reaching out to local veterans in need? Consider being part of our veteran’s ministry. We’ll be connecting with the Cincinnati VA Medical Center, The Fisher House and with the veterans in our own church family. Please contact michelle.puthoff@yahoo.com for more information.
IHN Overnight
We support Interfaith Hospitality Network four times a year by providing homeless families food for lunches, dinner, breakfast and an overnight stay. We need two people (one preferably being a male) to stay overnight at Our Lady of Sorrows church from 9:00pm Friday night May 17 to Saturday morning May 18 at 8:00am. Youth Lock-In
The River Youth will be having their annual Lock-In on the evening of Friday, April 5 until the morning of April 6 for all students in 6th-12th grade. They will meet at Eastern Lanes in Middletown for bowling from 9:30pm-12:00am before heading to The River Church for games/activities, food and a movie. Communion Volunteer
On the first Sunday of each month we take communion together as a church family. We are in need of volunteers who would be willing to prepare and pray over communion on the one Sunday a month. Due to the time it takes to prepare the individual cups, we would need you here at 8:45am and for you to stay after the first service to prepare the remainder of the cups for second service. Helicopter Egg Drop
Sign your kids and your friends kids up now for the annual Egg Drop on Saturday, April 13, by registering at https://riv.cc/RiverEggs2019 with the password RiverEggs2019. Registration goes public on March 17 when we expect the 400 available spots for kids to be taken within a day or two. This is a great invite opportunity for your River 5!

Angels Among Us
There are times in life when we can be in a situation where a meal would be a blessing, such as after giving birth or when dealing with a medical situation. Through our Angels Among Us ministry, you can help people within our church by bringing them a meal. To join, send an email to info@HitTheRiver.com letting us know you’d like to be part of this ministry. When a need arises, you will receive an email asking if you can sign up to bring a meal. If you are in a situation where you could be blessed by a meal, please email us at info@HitTheRiver.com.
