River Youth Parent Meeting
Our student ministry is having a meeting for parents of students in 6th-12th grade TODAY at 3:30pm. This will be an important meeting as we talk about safety procedures, upcoming events/series, and lay out the vision and direction of the student ministry in 2019. Make sure to join us!
Kids Night Out
Valentine’s Day is right around the corner! Parents go out on a Valentine’s date and leave your kiddos with us. We will enjoy pizza for dinner, Valentine’s crafts, and play games. The cost is $10 for your first child $5 for each additional sibling we will provide child care, pizza, crafts, games, & tons of fun. All proceeds go to Wyandot resource pantry. We welcome all kids to join us who are preschool (potty trained and 3 years old) - 5th grade. Winter Jam
The River Youth is heading to the Winter Jam Tour on Saturday, February 16. We will be leaving from The River’s building at 3:30pm for the concert and will be back at 11:00pm that evening. Artists include Newsboys United, Danny Gokey, Mandisa, Rend Collective and more! The cost is $15 at the door. Make sure to bring cash to the event! This event is open to students and their families.
Financial Peace University

Guatemala Fundraiser
Join the Guatemala missions team in a Chili Cook-Off! On Sunday, March 3 from 5:00pm-6:30pm prior to the Worship Night Service, we will be having a chili contest to help raise money for the Guatemala trip on June 22-30. New Women's Study
What is the deep cry of your heart? The ache in your soul that keeps you up at night? The prayer you keep repeating? Jesus not only cares about this deep, spiritual wrestling, but He also wants to step in and see you through it. Lysa TerKeurst takes us to the streets of Israel to explore the seven I AM statements of Jesus found in the Gospel of John. Through this interactive, in-depth study we will be trading feelings of emptiness and depletion for the fullness of knowing who Jesus is like never before. Sr. High ThreeSLI Conference (9th-12th Grade)
We are inviting students in 9th-12th grade for a weekend retreat/conference called ThreeSLI on March 8-10. This fun and engaging weekend conference is a leadership intensive event designed for high school students who sense a call to ministry leadership or who desire to lead in their school, workplace, and community. GroupLink is a 90-minute event that takes place on Saturday, March 9 at 4:00pm, where you meet people in a similar stage of life & area of town with the goal of forming a Community Group. We will have people there to help you navigate the process of meeting others and forming a group.
When you register to attend GroupLink, we’ll ask you some questions to help us match you with an initial connection comprised of people who have similar group preferences. If the logistics of this group work for you, great! If they don’t work for you, we will help you find a different group. We don’t assign you to a group. Trail Life USA
Trail Life USA is a church-based, Christ-centered, boy-focused mentoring and discipleship journey. Established on Biblical values and set in the context of outdoor adventure, boys from Kindergarten through 12th grade are in a troop setting with male mentors where they are challenged to grow in character, understand their purpose, serve their community, and develop practical leadership skills. Angels Among Us
There are times in life when we can be in a situation where a meal would be a blessing, such as after giving birth or when dealing with a medical situation. Through our Angels Among Us ministry, you can help people within our church by bringing them a meal. To join, send an email to info@HitTheRiver.com letting us know you’d like to be part of this ministry. When a need arises, you will receive an email asking if you can sign up to bring a meal. If you are in a situation where you could be blessed by a meal, please email us at info@HitTheRiver.com.
