ExpandAnnual Business Meeting
We will be meeting on Sunday, January 27, at 3:30pm for our annual business meeting. This meeting is open to our regular attenders and members. However, only members of The River are eligible to vote. Childcare is available.
Get Connected
GroupLink is a 90-minute event where you can meet people in a similar stage of life and area of town with the goal of forming a Community Group. We will have people there to help you navigate the process of meeting others and forming a group. Our next GroupLink event is going to help on Saturday, February 2 at 4:00pm. Beyond The Broken Heart
How does the heart understand grief when it is broken by the death of a loved one? To survive and live forward, those who grieve must find answers. Starting Sunday, February 3, this small group will meet for 10 weeks on Sunday mornings during first service (9:45am-11:00am). Contact Jim Mousie for additional information and/or questions about this group (jimmousie@hotmail.com). The group will be limited to 6-12 participants and participants should be at least 3 months removed from their grief experience. Kids Night Out
Valentine’s Day is right around the corner! Parents go out on a Valentine’s date and leave your kiddos with us. We will enjoy pizza for dinner, Valentine’s crafts, and play games. The cost is $10 for your first child $5 for each additional sibling we will provide child care, pizza, crafts, games, & tons of fun. All proceeds go to Wyandot resource pantry. We welcome all kids to join us who are preschool (potty trained and 3 years old) - 5th grade. Winter Jam
The River Youth is heading to the Winter Jam Tour on Saturday, February 16. We will be leaving from The River’s building at 3:30pm for the concert and will be back at 11:00pm that evening. Artists include Newsboys United, Danny Gokey, Mandisa, Rend Collective and more! The cost is $15 at the door. Make sure to bring cash to the event! This event is open to students and their families.
Financial Peace University
Starting Thursday, February 28 at 6:30pm, this 9 week course will help you achieve your financial goals. Contact Mary Richardson at finallap@fuse.net if you have questions. Go to https://fpu.com/10794758 to sign up for the class. Childcare will be provided.
Guatemala Mission Trip 2019

Trail Life USA
Trail Life USA is a church-based, Christ-centered, boy-focused mentoring and discipleship journey. Established on Biblical values and set in the context of outdoor adventure, boys from Kindergarten through 12th grade are in a troop setting with male mentors where they are challenged to grow in character, understand their purpose, serve their community, and develop practical leadership skills. If you would be interested in signing your child up and/or serving in one of the many leadership positions of the troop, please contact Rich Wasson at rich@richandtammy.com. Angels Among Us
There are times in life when we can be in a situation where a meal would be a blessing, such as after giving birth or when dealing with a medical situation. Through our Angels Among Us ministry, you can help people within our church by bringing them a meal. To join, send an email to info@HitTheRiver.com letting us know you’d like to be part of this ministry. When a need arises, you will receive an email asking if you can sign up to bring a meal. If you are in a situation where you could be blessed by a meal, please email us at info@HitTheRiver.com.
