Compromise #1: "Don't Go Very Far”
Egypt represents a way of life that doesn't acknowledge God as its highest or ultimate authority.
Four ways to avoid living for Egypt while living in Egypt:
1. Desegregate your life.
» Let God be the filter through which you live your whole life.
2. Declutter your life.
» Remove the things that consistently trip you up.
3. Maintain your life.
» Recognize that everything that tastes good to you isn't good for you.
4. Prioritize your life.
» Remember that everything/everyone can't be equally important.
