<b>Game On, Guys</b><br>It’s Game On at The River Church from 6:00pm-8:30pm on Friday, January 11. Guys who are school age and older are invited to try their hands at a variety of gaming systems spread around the church. Compete in Mario Kart tournaments, Wii sports and more rated “E” games. In between rounds, enjoy food, sports on the big screen and game trivia. Boys ages 15 and younger should be accompanied by an adult. Invite your River Five! Sign up today at https://hittheriver.com/events/game-on-011119<br><br><b>Daniel Fast</b><br>Starting Sunday, January 13 we are challenging our River Church Family to fast for either 7 (5K), 14 (Half Marathon), or 21 (Marathon) days. We are using this time to deepen our relationship with God and center ourselves around what God is going to do in our church and in our lives during this time.<br><br>During the fast, we will eliminate some common things from our daily diet. The diet is vegan based, eliminates caffeine, sugar, and artificial additives. A recipe and prayer guide will soon be available. This will be a great time to gather together during the Daniel Fast to spend some time together praying and worshiping.<br><br><b>River 101</b><br>Interested in learning more about The River Church? Pastor Brad will be teaching our River 101 class on Wednesday, January 23 from 6:15pm-8:30pm. This is a great way to learn what we believe, how we operate, and where we’re heading. More information and a sign up sheet is coming soon.<br><br><b>Mom and Daughter Painting Event</b><br>The River Youth is inviting moms of teenage daughters and their friends to a fun day at Painting with a Twist in Mason on Saturday, January 26 from 12:00pm-2:00pm for a painting class. The cost is $25 a person. You can join your family and friends and paint a personal canvas painting that is yours to keep. Believe is a high energy weekend event for Junior High (6th-8th grade) students only. It is structured specifically for Jr High Students and is packed with powerful worship and teaching from God’s Word. As they go through the weekend, students will discover ways in which God is calling them to be Kingdom workers in their schools, communities, and the world. Through our Angels Among Us ministry, you can help people within our church by bringing them a meal.
