Youth Christmas Party
The River Youth will be bringing back their annual Christmas Party TONIGHT from 6:30pm-8:00pm. We will be doing an Ugly Christmas Outfit contest, worshipping together, and ending by bringing back the classic tradition of the white elephant gift exchange. Students are encouraged to bring a cheap, fun and silly gift to share for the exchange. We hope your student will join us.
River Youth Caroling
The River Youth is heading to Mt Pleasant Retirement Community on Wednesday, December 19 in Monroe from 6:00pm-7:00pm to bless the residents with Christmas Carols. This is not just for the youth group. It is open to anyone who would be interested in joining. Contact zach@HitTheRiver.com if you are interested.
Serve City
The River Church is scheduled to serve Saturday December 22, from 9:45am-12:00pm at the food pantry, Serve City. If you are interested in serving, arrive at 9:45am at Serve City and you will be shown how you can help. They are located at 622 East Avenue, Hamilton. River Youth Christmas Movie
We are inviting all students in 6th-12th grade to join us on Sunday, December 23 after the 11:15am service, downstairs in the Community Room for the Christmas movie Elf. Pizza and drinks will be provided. We hope your student will join us! Elf is rated PG for mild rude humor and language.
Christmas Eve Services
We would love to have you and your family as our guest for one of our Christmas Eve services at 2:30pm, 4:00pm or 5:30pm on Monday, December 24.
Game On Guys
It’s Game On at The River Church from 6:00pm-8:30pm on Friday, January 11. Guys who are school age and older are invited to try their hands at a variety of gaming systems spread around the church. Compete in Mario Kart tournaments, Wii sports and more rated “E” games. In between rounds, enjoy food, sports on the big screen and game trivia. Boys ages 15 and younger should be accompanied by an adult. Invite your River Five! Portable game devices are welcome with E rated games only. Mom and Daughter Painting Event
The River Youth is inviting moms of teenage daughters and their friends to a fun day at Painting with a Twist in Mason on Saturday, January 26 from 12:00pm-2:00pm for a painting class. The cost is $25 a person. You can join your family and friends and paint a personal canvas painting that is yours to keep. CIY Believe
We are inviting all students who are in 6th-8th grade to Christ in Youth’s Believe tour at Northern Kentucky University’s BB&T Arena on February 15-16. Believe is a high energy weekend event for Junior High (6th-8th grade) students only. It is structured specifically for Jr High Students and is packed with powerful worship and teaching from God’s Word. As they go through the weekend, students will discover ways in which God is calling them to be Kingdom workers in their schools, communities, and the world. Women’s Bible Study – A Great Way to Start the New Year!
Starting Tuesdays, January 8 there are two times you can attend: 9:30am–11:30am or 6:30pm–8:30pm
We are studying 30 Life Principles by Charles Stanley
God has given you hundreds of principles in His Word to help you become everything that He designed you to be. He has provided these truths to guide you, comfort you, encourage you, and teach you how to be triumphant in Christ. These principles have never failed and will never disappoint, and God has promised that He will bless your obedience as you follow His commands.

In Need?
The River Church has a Deacon Team in place to address the needs of people who are in the midst of difficult circumstances. We invite people to contact us, whether for yourself or for another person at the River. If you want to be considered for help by the Deacon Team, it is as simple as sending a message to DeaconTeam@HitTheRiver.com. The Deacon Team is made up of 4 members: Melisa Bock, Vicki Chappell, Terry Daviaux, and Phil Wolf. All requests are handled with confidentiality. The Deacon Team also helps provide boxes of food and personal hygiene products to people in need whether or not they attend the River Church.

Angels Among Us
There are times in life when we can be in a situation where a meal would be a blessing, such as after giving birth or when dealing with a medical situation. Through our Angels Among Us ministry, you can help people within our church by bringing them a meal. To join, send an email to info@HitTheRiver.com letting us know you’d like to be part of this ministry. When a need arises, you will receive an email asking if you can sign up to bring a meal. If you are in a situation where you could be blessed by a meal, please email us at info@HitTheRiver.com.
