God moves his people from bondage to freedom.

We cannot see the reality of our spiritual situation without God’s intervention.

We find life in obedience to God.

Obedience to God is a result of loving God with all your heart.

For us to love God with all our heart, God has to give us a new heart.

Choosing life means choosing Christ.

Moses is about to die. For 40 years, Moses has led an ungrateful, unfaithful people through the wilderness. The original generation has all but passed away, and now he speaks to their children and grandchildren. Life and death are before them, he warns. And then come some of his final words: choose life.
