He suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried; he descended to hell. The third day he rose again from the dead. The Evils of Islam

1. Women and Children

A SYSTEM REVEALS WHAT IT BELIEVES ABOUT WOMEN BY THE AUTHORITY IT GIVES THEM, THE PROTECTION IT PROVIDES THEM, AND THE POWER IT GIVES MEN OVER THEM.

Inequality of Men and Women

Qur’an 4:11 - One son receives twice the inheritance of one daughter.

Qur’an 2:282 - 1 male witness = 2 female witnesses

INEQUALITY DOESN’T BECOME JUSTICE BECAUSE SOMEONE CALLS IT SACRED.

Galatians 3:28
“There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.”


2. Marriage and Family

IF SOMETHING WOULD BE IMMORAL TODAY, CALLING IT “CULTURAL” DOESN’T MAKE IT HOLY YESTERDAY.

Polygamy

Qur’an 4:3 - A Muslim man can marry up to 4 women.

Child Marriage

Hadith Sahih al-Bukhari 5134 - Muhammad married Aisha when she was six years old and consummated his marriage when she was nine years old.

Qur’an 65:4 - Divorced girls who have not reached puberty should wait 3 months before remarrying

A CHILD CANNOT GIVE ADULT CONSENT JUST BECAUSE A RELIGIOUS SYSTEM CALLS HER A WIFE.

Matthew 18:6
6 “If anyone causes one of these little ones—those who believe in me—to stumble, it would be better for them to have a large millstone hung around their neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea.

Discipline in Marriage

Qur’an 4:34
- Admonish her.
- Abandon her in the marital bed.
- Strike her.

1 Peter 3:7
“Husbands, in the same way be considerate as you live with your wives, and treat them with respect as the weaker partner and as heirs with you of the gracious gift of life, so that nothing will hinder your prayers.”

Eternity

Qur’an 56 - Promises virgin female companions in Paradise. The Hadith specifically promises 72 virgins.

IN ISLAMIC PARADISE, WOMEN ARE PRESENTED AS REWARDS FOR MEN. IN THE GOSPEL, WOMEN ARE REDEEMED AS IMAGE-BEARERS OF GOD.

THE CHARACTER OF A RELIGION IS REVEALED BY WHAT IT PERMITS THE POWERFUL TO DO TO THE VULNERABLE.


3. Unbelievers, Infidels and Apostasy

FAITH THAT MUST BE ENFORCED BY FEAR ISN’T FAITH, IT’S COMPLIANCE.

Leaving Islam

Sahih al-Bukhari 3017 - Whoever changes his religion, kill him.

TRUTH DOESN’T NEED TO KILL THE PERSON WHO QUESTIONS IT.

Christians and Jewish People

Qur’an 9:29 - Submit to Islamic rule and pay the jizya, or face war—with death, captivity, or enslavement among the possible consequences of defeat.

Qur’an 5:72-73 - Condemns Jesus as the son of God, the Trinity, and warns those who persist in Trinitarian belief of painful punishment.

Qur’an 8:12 and Qur’an 47:4 - Beheading unbelievers/infidels

2 Timothy 2:24–25
“The Lord’s servant must not be quarrelsome but must be kind to everyone…Opponents must be gently instructed.”

THE GOSPEL INVITES PEOPLE TO BELIEVE. IT DOESN’T THREATEN THEM FOR REFUSING.


4. War and Peace

Kill the Polytheist

Qur’an 9:5 - “When the sacred months have passed, kill the polytheists wherever you find them, capture them, besiege them, and lie in wait for them at every place of ambush. But if they repent, establish prayer, and pay the zakat, then let them go their way. Indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.”

Conquering the World

Qur’an 8:39 - Fight until opposition, polytheism or persecution has ended and religious allegiance belongs completely to Allah.

MUHAMMAD BUILT AN EARTHLY KINGDOM THROUGH POLITICAL AND MILITARY POWER. JESUS BUILT AN ETERNAL KINGDOM THROUGH A CROSS.

John 18:36
36 Jesus said, “My kingdom is not of this world. If it were, my servants would fight to prevent my arrest by the Jewish leaders. But now my kingdom is from another place.”

THE KINGDOM OF GOD DOESN’T ADVANCE BY MAKING OUR ENEMIES BLEED. IT ADVANCES BECAUSE JESUS BLED FOR HIS ENEMIES.
