Pursuing the Heart of God | Is God Still God When the Walls Crash Down?
This week, Pastor Nathan Wakefield continues our sermon series, Pursuing the Heart of God. 2 Samuel 15 teaches us that because God remains sovereign even when our world falls apart, we must respond to catastrophe with faithful trust rather than despair. Video of the worship service is available beginning Sunday at 9:30 AM at https://southviewbaptist.org/live.

• Absalom stole the hearts and minds of the people (1–6).
• Absalom used worship as a cover for rebellion (7–9).
• Absalom declared himself king (10–12).

• David’s grief was real (30–31).
• God’s providence began appearing in small ways (32–37).
• Ultimate hope rests in the Lord (John 14:25-28).
