(Titus 3:4-7 ESV) But when the goodness and loving kindness of God our Savior appeared, he saved us, not because of works done by us in righteousness, but according to his own mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewal of the Holy Spirit, whom he poured out on us richly through Jesus Christ our Savior, so that being justified by his grace we might become heirs according to the hope of eternal life.
(Colossians 1:15 NLT) - Christ is the visible image of the invisible God.
Forgiveness: the act of letting go of resentment and demand for repayment for a hurt or offense, often described as canceling a debt
(Genesis 2:16-17 NLT) - But the LORD God warned him, "You may freely eat the fruit of every tree in the garden-- except the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. If you eat its fruit, you are sure to die.”
(Romans 6:23 NLT) - For the wages of sin is death, but the FREE GIFT of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord.
No one is so good they don’t need forgiveness; no one is so bad they can’t have it.
(Romans 3:23 NLT) - For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God's glorious standard.
If He just forgives, He isn’t just. If He just punishes, He isn’t mercy and love.
(1 Corinthians 15:21-22 NLT) - So you see, just as death came into the world through a man, now the resurrection from the dead has begun through another man. Just as everyone dies because we all belong to Adam, everyone who belongs to Christ will be given new life.
Forgiveness from Jesus doesn’t make bad people good, it makes dead people alive.
(Colossians 1:19-22 NLT) ... For God in all his fullness was pleased to live in Christ, and through him God reconciled everything to himself. He made peace with everything in heaven and on earth by means of Christ's blood on the cross. This includes you who were once far away from God. You were his enemies, separated from him by your evil thoughts and actions. Yet now he has reconciled you to himself through the death of Christ in his physical body. As a result, he has brought you into his own presence, and you are holy and blameless as you stand before him without a single fault.
1. Jesus’ Forgiveness comes to us.

(Psalm 23:6 ESV) - Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I shall dwell in the house of the LORD forever.

FIND FREEDOM/ DISCOVER PURPOSE
(1 John 1:7 NIV) - But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin.

MAKE A DIFFERENCE
(Ephesians 4:31-32 NLT) - Get rid of all bitterness, rage, anger, harsh words, and slander, as well as all types of evil behavior. Instead, be kind to each other, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as God through Christ has forgiven you.
(Colossians 3:12-13 NLT) - Since God chose you to be the holy people he loves, you must clothe yourselves with tenderhearted mercy, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience. Make allowance for each other's faults, and forgive anyone who offends you. Remember, the Lord forgave you, so you must forgive others.

The world isn’t moved by perfect Christians, but by forgiven and healed ones who extend forgiveness and healing to others.
