“Then God said, “Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness, so that they may rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky, over the livestock and all the wild animals, and over all the creatures that move along the ground.” Genesis 1:26 NIV
Three questions every believer needs to ask:

1. Who am I? (Identity)

Answer: I am made in the image of God.
We are created to be image bearers of the One True God.

~Imago Dei
"The problem of sin isn’t just that we become guilty and deserve God’s wrath. It is that we fail to be effective God-reflectors, with the consequence that God’s good creation falls into corruption and decay." - NT Wright

Three questions every believer needs to ask:

2. Why am I here? (Purpose)

I exist to extend the kingdom rule of God
“Then God said, “Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness, so that they may rule ... Genesis 1:26 NIV
Your purpose:

Bring the kingdom rule of God into every environ-ment
Jesus called them together and said, “You know that the rulers of the Gentiles lord it over them, and their high officials exercise authority over them. Not so with you. Instead, whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant, and whoever wants to be first must be your slave—just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.” - Matthew 20:25-28 NIV
To the elders among you, I appeal as a fellow elder and a witness of Christ’s sufferings who also will share in the glory to be revealed: Be shepherds of God’s flock that is under your care, watching over them—not because you must, but because you are willing, as God wants you to be; not pursuing dishonest gain, but eager to serve; not lording it over those entrusted to you, but being examples to the flock. - 1 Peter 5:1-3 NIV
Three questions every believer needs to ask:

3. What should I be doing? (Assignment)

Answer: I fulfill the purpose of God wherever I am.
For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast. For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. - Ephesians 2:8-10 NIV
My purpose is to bring the kingdom rule of God into my current assignment.
1. Be mindful of your identity.

2. Be faithful to your purpose.

3.Be grateful for your assignment.
