What are the problems that you usually face on a journey?
Read:

Acts 13-28.
God will refine us through the struggles.
1. Develop endurance.
2. Endurance builds Character.
3. Character builds Hope of salvation.
God can use our struggles, He invites us to trust in him.
It’s an opportunity to build our confidence in God and prepare us for what’s ahead.
Suffering builds endurance, builds our character
and builds our hope in God.
Contentment.
Whether he is loved or persecuted, he finds peace in God.
Whether he is safe or in danger, he finds strength in God.
Whether he has plenty or nothing, he has everything in God.
God is sufficient for us.

God is the one who sustains us on the journey.
We base ourselves by the things that people say and things that we have or have achieved.

That desire has become your God.
God is the only one that can truly sustain us.

Be content.
Christ is enough for us.
How?

1 Corinthians 4:15–17
I became your father in Christ Jesus . . be imitators of me. That is why I sent you Timothy, my beloved and faithful child in the Lord, to remind you of my ways in Christ.

1 Corinthians 11:1
Be imitators of me, as I am of Christ.

Philippians 3:17
Brothers, join in imitating me, and keep your eyes on those who walk according to the example you have in us.

Philippians. 4:9
What you have learned and received and heard and seen in me—practice these things.

1Thessalonians 1:6
In this way, you imitated both us and the Lord.

Ephesians 5:1
Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children.
Every time Paul endured persecution, beaten, shipwrecked and tormented he found strength, patience, joy, and obedience in God.

Just like JESUS did on the cross.
Every time Paul was spreading the gospel, he had love, compassion and humility for the people.

Just like Jesus as he came to earth to serve not to be served.
Paul has status as a Roman citizen but humbled himself, and did not misuse his privileges.

Just like Jesus the High Priest, the Son of God who came to earth but took a position as a slave and was born a human being.

Every single time, Paul was following the examples of Jesus.
We are called to Imitate Christ.
Christ is the blueprint of our lives.
Imitate HIM as HE imitates CHRIST.
Imitate = Mimetai (Greek)

“To become a person who copies the words and behaviors of another”
God is the master and we are the apprentice.

Christ is perfect, Paul and us are not but we are called to imitate Christ
You are called to spread the gospel and you are called to reflect Christ in how you live your lives.

Your friends, your family, and the world can
imitate YOU as YOU imitate CHRIST.
Jesus has already given us a manual to navigate through the journey.
God will refine us.
Christ is enough.
Become more like Him.

That is how we will be able to navigate through this journey.
Questions for you guys to reflect:

Are you going to navigate with Him or not?

Are you going to choose to navigate through life by yourself,
or are you going to lean on Him?

The Choice is yours.
