Getting to the Gospel: Highways
This week, Pastoral Resident Harrison Kerns teaches from Acts 17:1-15, where we see that even though sharing the Gospel is for the ends of the earth, there are ideal settings, inevitable troubles, and unpredictable results. Video of the worship service is available beginning Sunday at 9:30 AM at https://southviewbaptist.org/live.

• The Gospel ultimately brought persecution, slander, and humiliation upon the believers.
• Paul did not seek trouble out intentionally though it still found him.
• The believers prevented and avoided trouble when it became detrimental to the mission.

• Paul’s faithful, accustomed method had varied results.
• Success in numbers depended greatly on the character of the audience.
• A principal commitment to the pursuit of truth was the key.
