Sermon Title: Don't Kick 'Em While They're Down
Sermon Text: Romans 15:1-13
Preparation Question: What is your immediate, knee-jerk reaction to another believer whose habits, preferences, or background rub you the wrong way?

1. Bear with other believers, but don’t be a bear. (v. 1-4)

2. Pick up your enemy, don’t pick on them. (v. 5-12)

3. Be peacemakers, don’t throw haymakers. (v. 13)

Response Questions:
1. How does shifting our goal from "winning an argument" to "reflecting Christ's righteousness" completely change how we handle non-essential disagreements in the church?
2. Why does singing worship songs mean very little to God if we are actively tearing down or discarding our brothers and sisters in the foyer?
3. Where do you see modern Christians treating certain cultural or political groups as "the enemy" rather than "the mission"?
4. What does it look like practically in a local church to "absorb a punch" for the sake of unity rather than throwing a haymaker back?
5. Who is one "weak" or "difficult" believer in your life that you have been tempted to kick while they are down or write off completely? What is one concrete step of grace, patience, or hospitality you will take toward them this week to pick them up instead of picking at or on them?
