1. Discerning where God is working moves us to look where hearts are yearning.
2. Embracing the Gospel moves us to embrace people right where they are.
LifeGroup Questions
Before attending LifeGroup
1. Read Acts 10:1-23a. Reflect and write one observation.
2. What does this passage teach us about God and people?
3. What scriptures help you understand the text and message? (i.e., Genesis 8:20-22; Psalm 141:2; 2 Corinthians 2:14-16)
During LifeGroup
1. Read aloud Acts 10:1-23a. Have a LifeGroup member retell the narrative as if he/she were there (first person).
2. What stands out about Cornelius? What about you might please God's attention?
3. What resonated most from Matt's message? Why?
4. Have a couple of lifegroup members share when they were convicted by God to do something out of their comfort zone for someone else. Was it hard? What resulted?
5. With what cultures might God desire you to interact? State a next step.
6. Write down what God is impressing upon you to do in response to the passage or discussion.
For next week’s message: read and reflect on Acts 10:23b-11:18.
