Evangelism: Getting someone to see that God is already at work in their lives.

(Acts 1:8 NLT) ... you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you. And you will be my witnesses, telling people about me everywhere ...
How do you change your world?

• I change my world one person at a time.
It is a choice!

(Luke 10:27 NLT) The man answered, (LAWYER) "'You must love the LORD your God with all your heart, all your soul, all your strength, and all your mind.' And, 'Love your neighbor as yourself.'"

(Luke 10:36 NLT) "Now which of these three would you say was a neighbor to the man who was attacked by bandits?" Jesus asked.

• You have to choose to be a neighbor.
(2 Timothy 4:5 NLT) ... Work at telling others the Good News, and fully carry out the ministry God has given you.
• Become aware

(Romans 10:14 NLT) But how can they call on him to save them unless they believe in him? And how can they believe in him if they have never heard about him? And how can they hear about him unless someone tells them?

(1 Corinthians 3:5-6 NLT) ... We are only God's servants through whom you believed the Good News. Each of us did the work the Lord gave us. I planted the seed in your hearts, and Apollos watered it, but it was God who made it grow.

• Do your part.
• Pray for them.

•• Pray that Father draws them to Jesus.
(John 6:44 NLT) For no one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws them to me, and at the last day I will raise them up.

•• Pray they have a real relationship with God.
(Romans 8:15 NLT) So you have not received a spirit that makes you fearful slaves. Instead, you received God's Spirit when he adopted you as his own children. Now we call him, "Abba, Father."

•• Pray God sends believers into their lives.
(Matthew 9:38 NLT) So pray to the Lord who is in charge of the harvest; ask him to send more workers into his fields."

•• Pray for a revelation of who Jesus is and what He did for them.
(Ephesians 1:17 NLT) asking God, the glorious Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, to give you spiritual wisdom and insight so that you might grow in your knowledge of God.
• Show you care.

(1 Corinthians 9:22 NLT) When I am with those who are weak, I share their weakness, for I want to bring the weak to Christ. Yes, I try to find common ground with everyone, doing everything I can to save some.
• Be ready to share.

(1 Peter 3:15 NLT) ...you must worship Christ as Lord of your life. And if someone asks about your hope as a believer, always be ready to explain it.

(Acts 20:24 NLT) But my life is worth nothing to me unless I use it for finishing the work assigned me by the Lord Jesus--the work of telling others the Good News about the wonderful grace of God.
Sphere of Influence

• My People

(Mark 5:18-20 NLT) As Jesus was getting into the boat, the man who had been demon possessed begged to go with him. But Jesus said, "No, go home to your family, and tell them everything the Lord has done for you and how merciful he has been." So the man started off to visit the Ten Towns of that region and began to proclaim the great things Jesus had done for him; and everyone was amazed at what he told them.
Sphere of Influence

• My Place

(Psalm 90:17 NLT) And may the Lord our God show us his approval and make our efforts successful. Yes, make our efforts successful!
How can I change my world?

• Mind your P's & Q's.

Your Testimony

(Colossians 4:6 NIV) Let your conversation be always full of grace, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how to answer everyone.

(1 Thessalonians 4:11-12 NIV) ... make it your ambition to lead a quiet life: You should mind your own business and work with your hands, just as we told you, so that your daily life may win the respect of outsiders ...
• Look for intersections

** Divine Appointments

(Proverbs 16:9 NLT) We can make our plans, but the LORD determines our steps.

• Know your message.

** I have hope because... I know the condition I was in and God loved me anyway.

(1 Peter 3:15 NLT) ...you must worship Christ as Lord of your life. And if someone asks about your hope as a believer, always be ready to explain it.

(2 Corinthians 5:17-19 NLT) This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun! And all of this is a gift from God, who brought us back to himself through Christ. And God has given us this task of reconciling people to him. For God was in Christ, reconciling the world to himself, no longer counting people's sins against them. And he gave us this wonderful message of reconciliation.
