Keep Climbing

There is something about a mountain that exposes what is really inside of us. At the bottom, everything feels possible. The energy is high, the goal is clear, and the excitement is real. But somewhere in the middle of the climb, when your legs burn, your lungs scream, and there is still more mountain ahead, the real test begins. Life works the same way. Faith feels easier when everything is going well, but what happens when life gets steep? What happens when the marriage is hard, anxiety will not leave, prayers seem unanswered, grief lingers, or obedience does not make life easier?
