What’s something you’ve gotten really into lately—a hobby, food, show, sport, or activity—and how could people tell you were passionate about it?

When you hear someone say they “love God,” what do you think they usually mean? What do you think deep love for God actually looks like in everyday life?

David is called “a man after God’s own heart” even though he failed in some major ways. Why do you think God still described him that way? What stands out to you about David’s relationship with God?

When you look at David’s life, which part of his journey connects with you most right now—fear, frustration, celebration, reflection, repentance, or asking for guidance? Why?

What do you think it means to allow God to “search” your heart? Is that comforting, challenging, scary, encouraging—or maybe all of those?

This week Pastor Jonathan talked about living a life “saturated” with the heart of God instead of giving Him just one corner of our lives. What’s one area of life that is easy to surrender to God, and what’s one area that is harder to fully trust Him with?

Closing Prayer:
“God, thank You for loving us deeply and never giving up on us. Help us not to settle for a shallow or convenient faith, but to truly want what You want. Search our hearts and show us areas where we need to realign with You. Teach us to come back to You no matter what—when we fail, when we’re afraid, when we’re frustrated, and when we celebrate. Saturate every part of our lives with Your heart and Your presence. Help us follow the example of Jesus and grow in a deep love for You each day. Amen.”
