1. The Jew and the law.
Human instruction - Proverbs 1:8 “Hear, my son, your father’s instruction, and forsake not your mother’s teaching.”
Divine Instruction - Isaiah 1:10 “Hear the word of the Lord, you rulers of Sodom!”
A Regulation - Leviticus 7:7 “The guilt offering is just like the sin offering; there is one law for them.”
The law of Moses - I Kings 2:3 “and keep the charge of the Lord your God, walking in his ways, and keeping his statutes, his commandments, his rules, and his testimonies, as it is written in the Law of Moses, that you may prosper in all that you do and wherever you turn.”
A principle which governs one’s actions - Romans 7:23 “but I see in my members another law waging war against the law of my mind and making me captive to the law of sin that dwells in my members.”
