Easter Sunday - Echoes of Resurrection Power
What if your best days aren’t behind you—but ahead of you? So much of what we believe about heaven has been shaped by culture—songs, movies, and clichés that leave it vague, boring, or distant. But the Bible paints a far better picture. But what if the dreams, visions, and goals we set for this life have led us to a vision only in this life? What if our greatest purpose isn’t for this life… but the next? In this series, Heaven, we’ll lift our eyes beyond the here and now and rediscover the hope, clarity, and purpose that come from a bigger view of eternity. Heaven is not wishful thinking. It’s real, personal, purposeful, and more meaningful than we’ve imagined.

NEW TO REAL LIFE?
What if you’ve only heard part of the story of Jesus?
You’ve seen glimpses…
Heard stories of lives changing…
Watched people find peace, freedom, and purpose you can’t quite explain.
And maybe for you, it feels like something is there…
Something real…
But just out of reach.
Maybe those are the echoes of resurrection power.
This Sunday, come discover what really happened when Jesus rose from the dead and why that same power is still changing lives today—including yours.
Key words: Heaven, Hope, Vision, Joy, God’s presence, Eternity, Death
1. Recognizing the Echoes in Your Life
You’ve heard stories of healing, freedom, and transformation, and maybe even seen glimpses yourself.
Question:
Where have you personally seen or sensed the “echoes” of God’s resurrection power in your life, even if you couldn’t fully explain it at the time?
2. When Faith Feels Distant
Sometimes in trials, it feels like God is quiet or far away, even when we know the truth.
Question:
What situation in your life right now is testing your faith the most? How has it affected the way you see God?
3. Holding On When You Don’t Understand
Jesus suffered deeply, even crying out, “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?”
Question:
Have you ever felt abandoned or confused in your suffering? What does it look like for you to keep trusting God in those moments?
4. Faith Before the Outcome (Abraham’s Example)
Abraham believed God could raise the dead before he ever saw it happen.
Question:
Where is God asking you to trust Him right now before you see the outcome? What makes that difficult?
5. The Power of Testimony
Real stories of life change—addiction broken, marriages restored—are evidence that resurrection power is still alive.
Question:
What is one way God has changed your life that you don’t talk about enough? How could sharing your story encourage someone else?
6. Don’t Miss What Matters Most
In Pastor Sean’s story about his grandpa’s Bible, people missed the greatest treasure right in front of them.
Question:
What distractions or priorities in your life might be causing you to overlook what matters most spiritually right now?
7. Stepping Into Resurrection Power
Romans 10:9 reminds us that believing in the resurrection isn’t just information, it’s an invitation.
Question:
What would it look like for you to fully step into the resurrection power of Jesus in this season of your life? What’s one next step you can take this week?
