Title: I Saw A Ghost! (post-resurrection encounters with Jesus): Misunderstood to Known

Main Scripture: John 20:10-18, Matthew 28:9-10 (NLT)

A defining moment is a meaningful experience or event that leaves a lasting impact on a person’s identity, beliefs, character, or direction in life. These moments often shape who we become and influence the choices and paths we take in the future.
Mary of Magdala made a life-changing decision that continues to impact us to this very day. Because of her faith in and love for Jesus of Nazareth, she became the first witness to His resurrection and the first to proclaim that Jesus is alive.
Will we stay in our mess and keep trying to do it our own way or will we invite the Holy Spirit to open our eyes, ears and heart to the One who can take what was intended for harm and turn it for good?
In her deepest moment of despair, Jesus revealed Himself to her. She believed, and without hesitation, she obeyed.
He wants to take the defining moments of your life and use them for His good and glory.
“A disciple is one who has repented of their former way of life and is now following the new orientation of Jesus. A disciple is a Christian in motion towards Christ.”

~ Dr. Dave Smith
He speaks and we turn in the direction of His voice. Revelation 1:10-12
“Disciple making is moving toward spiritual maturity through the reading AND understanding AND applying of the Word with Others.”

~ Dr. Dave Smith
Do I believe what Jesus believes? Do I practise what Jesus practises?
Be in communityGrow together in the WordLearn to love others authentically (caring + serving) → Others come to know Christ (through the overflow of our relationship with Jesus)
