(1 Corinthians 13:11-13 NLT) ... Three things will last forever--faith, hope, and love -- and the greatest of these is love.

(1 Corinthians 13:13 MSG) 'But for right now, until that completeness, we have three things to do to lead us toward that consummation: Trust steadily in God, hope unswervingly, love extravagantly. And the best of the three is love.’
Extravagantly = with a lack of restraint of use of resources -- excessive or elaborate -- to a large degree and with extreme feeling -- holding nothing back
(John 1:17 NLT) ... God's unfailing love and faithfulness came through Jesus Christ.
Faith gives way to sight.

(1 Corinthians 13:12a NLT) Now we see things imperfectly, like puzzling reflections in a mirror, but then we will see everything with perfect clarity...

Hope turns into experience.

(1 Corinthians 13:12b NLT) . . . All that I know now is partial and incomplete, but then I will know everything completely, just as God now knows me completely.

Love alone is eternal.

God is love!

(1 John 4:8, 16 NLT) But anyone who does not love does not know God, for God is love. ... We know how much God loves us, and we have put our trust in his love. God is love, and all who live in love live in God, and God lives in them.

(1 John 4:17 NLT) And as we live in God, our love grows more perfect...

We get better at showing love... The more we receive God's love.
Love is looking at us down thru eternity.

Knowing all of this... Jesus still rode into town.

• Jesus loves us perfectly.

(Romans 5:8 NLT) But God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners.

• Jesus loves us powerfully.

(1 Corinthians 6:14 NIV) By his power God raised the Lord from the dead, and he will raise us also.

• Jesus loves us permanently.

(Romans 8:35-39 NLT) Can anything separate us from Christ’s love? . . .No power in the sky above or in the earth below--indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.

God's love, loves you beyond your mess.
