(1 Corinthians 13:11-13 NLT) When I was a child, I spoke and thought and reasoned as a child. But when I grew up, I put away childish things. Now we see things imperfectly, like puzzling reflections in a mirror, but then we will see everything with perfect clarity. All that I know now is partial and incomplete, but then I will know everything completely, just as God now knows me completely. Three things will last forever--faith, hope, and love -- and the greatest of these is love.
Hope
(Jeremiah 29:11 NLT) For I know the plans I have for you," says the LORD. "They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.
Hopeless
(John 5:5-7 NLT) One of the men lying there had been sick for thirty-eight years. When Jesus saw him and knew he had been ill for a long time, he asked him, "Would you like to get well?” "I can't, sir," the sick man said, "for I have no one to put me into the pool when the water bubbles up. Someone else always gets there ahead of me.”
(John 5:8-9 NLT) Jesus told him, "Stand up, pick up your mat, and walk!"
Instantly, the man was healed! He rolled up his sleeping mat and began walking! ...
(1 Corinthians 13:13 NLT) Three things will last forever--faith, hope, and love--and the greatest of these is love.
• Hope is an anchor.

(Hebrews 6:19 NLT) This hope is a strong and trustworthy anchor for our souls. It leads us through the curtain into God's inner sanctuary.
• Our hope connected to His promise.

(Hebrews 6:17 MSG) When God wanted to guarantee his promises, he gave his word, a rock-solid guarantee—God can’t break his word. And because his word cannot change, the promise is likewise unchangeable.
• Hope steadies life.

(Matthew 14:32 NLT) When they climbed back into the boat, the wind stopped.
• Our hope has a name.

(Matthew 12:21 MSG) ...He won’t walk over anyone’s feelings, won’t push you into a corner. Before you know it, his justice will triumph; the mere sound of his name will signal hope, even among far-off unbelievers.
