When you imagine the disciples sitting around that table with Jesus, what do you think they were feeling or thinking as the conversation unfolded that night?

Jesus chose to wash the disciples’ feet — a simple but powerful act of service. Why do you think serving others in humble ways can sometimes feel difficult for us?

Think about your everyday life right now. Where do you see opportunities to “pick up the towel” and serve someone around you — at home, at work, or in your community?

Jesus told his followers that life would be hard, but that they would not face it alone because his Spirit would be with them. When life gets challenging, what helps you stay grounded in faith and hope?

Closing Prayer
God, thank you for the example of Jesus and the love he showed his disciples on the night of the Last Supper. Thank you that even knowing what was ahead, he chose to serve, to love, and to remind his followers of what truly matters. Help us to live the same way. Give us hearts that are willing to serve others, courage to love people well, and unity as we follow you together. When life feels difficult, remind us that your Spirit is with us and that you have already overcome the world. Shape our lives so that the way we live reflects Your love. Amen.
