Raised to Life Starts Now (Not Later)
What if your best days aren’t behind you—but ahead of you? What if our highest vision isn’t for this life... but the next? In this series, we’ll lift our eyes beyond the here and now and rediscover the hope, clarity, and purpose that come from a bigger view of eternity. So much of what we believe about heaven has been shaped by culture—songs, movies, and clichés that leave it vague, boring, or distant. But the Bible paints a far better picture. Heaven is not wishful thinking. It’s real, personal, purposeful, and more meaningful than we’ve imagined.

https://reallifechurchkc.com/planyourvisitMessage Description:
What if heaven isn’t just something you experience one day… but something that has already started in you?
This Sunday at Real Life Church, we’re continuing our Heaven series with a powerful message:
“Raised to Life Starts Now (Not Later)”
If you’ve ever felt stuck… struggled with the same things over and over… or wondered why your faith doesn’t feel as strong as it should… This message is for you!
We’re talking about:
- What really happens when you give your life to Jesus
- Why you still feel the tension between who you were and who you’re becoming
- How to actually live with the power God has already placed inside of you
- Why baptism is more than a symbol—it’s a turning point
This could be your moment where you step into your true identity in Christ.
Key words: Heaven, Hope, Vision, Joy, God’s presence, Eternity, Death

You would so moved by your baptism… THAT IT WILL CHANGE HOW YOU LIVE ON EARTH!
Jesus is the leader and origin of a whole new resurrected humanity.
Placed inside His life… placed inside HIS DEATH
There is a literal version of you that no longer exists.
SIN IS NO LONGER YOUR MASTER AND I’M NOW A SLAVE TO GOD’S RIGHTEOUSNESS.
There is a part of you that looks just like Jesus and a part that still looks like your past.
You are not waiting for resurrection power—you are learning to walk in it.
There’s more of Jesus in you than you think.
Talk it Over
1. Honest Check-In: Where Are You Right Now?
- Where in your life do you currently feel the most overwhelmed, discouraged, or stuck?
- What has your internal dialogue sounded like lately when you’re struggling?
2. The Battle Within: Spirit vs. Flesh
- The message talked about a war between the “new you” and the “old you.” Where do you feel that tension most right now?
- When do you notice your “old self” trying to take control again?
3. Identity Shift: Living From Resurrection
- What does it mean to you personally that “the resurrection isn’t just future—it’s your identity now”?
- What would change in your daily life if you truly believed you were already living from resurrection power?
4. Baptism: More Than a Moment
- How have you viewed baptism in the past—symbol, tradition, or something more?
- After hearing this message, what stands out to you about baptism being a “funeral and a resurrection”?
5. Freedom From Sin’s Voice
- The message said, “Sin is no longer your master—it’s just a memory trying to act like authority.”
Where do you still feel like sin has a voice or control in your life?
- What would it look like to start responding from freedom instead of shame?
6. Power in the Middle of Struggle
- Romans 8:11 says the same Spirit that raised Jesus lives in you. Do you tend to live like that’s true—or like you’re still powerless?
- What’s one situation right now where you need to start walking in that power?
7. Trials: What Is God Doing in You?
- James 1 says trials are shaping you, not breaking you.
What trial are you currently facing, and what might God be developing in you through it?
- How could this struggle actually strengthen your faith instead of weaken it?
8. Response: Less of Me, More of You
- What is one step God is inviting you to take this week—personally or spiritually?
- If you haven’t been baptized, what is holding you back from fully stepping into that identity?
CLOSE IN PRAYER
- For strength in the battle
- For clarity in identity
- For courage to take their next step (especially baptism)
