1. What has been your favorite part of this series so far? What has stood out to you most about going through the Lord’s Prayer like this?
2. Before this series did you know much about the Lord’s Prayer? Had you ever asked why it existed or what part it played in the life of faith? Have your thoughts on the Lord’s Prayer changed? Why or why not? Why does the Lord’s Prayer exist?
3. Have you ever wondered why some translations include the last line of the Lord’s Prayer and some don’t? Did the answer you heard on Sunday make sense? Why or why not? Did this change the way you viewed the Bible? Why or why not? How would you sum up what you believe about the Bible?
4. Have you ever heard the word “Doxology”? How would you define a doxology? Does it make sense that the final line is added as a doxology? Why or why not?
5. What was the purpose for adding the final line to the prayer? How does ending our prayer like this help us realign our hearts and minds? Are there any areas of your life you need to realign with God’s heart?
6. Why it important that we praise God? How does this final line help us to do that?
