Sermon Title: Let's Rest in God When Opposition Rises
Sermon Text: Acts 22:22-23:11
Preparation Question: When you face resistance, uncertainty, or isolation because of your faith, what truths about God help steady your heart?
Because God sovereignly sustains, directs, and stands beside His servants, believers can remain courageous and faithful even when opposition, confusion, and loneliness surround them.

1. God sustains when opposition strikes. (22:22-29)
2. God directs even when leaders are divided. (22:30 - 23:10)
3. God is powerfully present when we feel awfully alone. (23:11)
Response Questions:
1. Why do you think the crowd’s attitude toward Paul changed so suddenly in Acts 22:22, and what does that reveal about how people often respond to truth today?
2. Where do you see God’s providence at work in Paul’s situation, and how have you seen God use unexpected means to protect or guide you or other believers?
3. What does Paul’s response before the council teach us about Spirit-led discernment in tense or hostile situations?
4. Why is Acts 23:11 such a powerful turning point in this passage, and what does it teach us about Christ’s presence during our hardest times?
5. Where in your life right now do you most need to trust that God is sustaining you, directing events, and standing beside you, and what would courageous faith look like in that situation this week?
