What if your best days aren’t behind you—but ahead of you?
As we step into a new year, we set goals, make plans, and dream about what’s next. But what if our highest vision isn’t for this life… but the next? In this six-part series, Heaven, we’ll lift our eyes beyond the here and now and rediscover the hope, clarity, and purpose that come from a bigger view of eternity.
So much of what we believe about heaven has been shaped by culture—songs, movies, and clichés that leave it vague, boring, or distant. But the Bible paints a far better picture. Heaven is not wishful thinking. It’s real, personal, purposeful, and more meaningful than we’ve imagined.
Over the next six weeks, we’ll explore what Scripture actually says about heaven. We’ll wrestle with questions like:
- What will heaven really be like?
- Will we recognize one another?
-What will we do there?
- Why does heaven matter right now?
This series is an invitation to stop counting the days behind us and start living in light of the days ahead.

Message Description:
What really happens the moment we take our last breath? Do we have bodies in Heaven? What about cremation? Will we remember our lives—or the people we love? These are real, personal questions, and this week we let Scripture speak clearly and confidently.
In Week 3 of our Heaven series, we walk through passages like 1 Corinthians 15, Luke 16, Philippians 3, and Revelation 6 to uncover what God promises about our resurrected, glorified bodies, our identity after death, and the very real nature of Heaven and Hell. Heaven isn’t vague or symbolic—it’s a real place with real people, real memory, real awareness, and real hope.
We’ll tackle honest questions people are asking right now:
• Does cremation affect resurrection?
• Are we conscious in Heaven?
• Do people in Heaven remember life on Earth—or see what’s happening now?
This message brings biblical clarity, hope for grieving hearts, and a challenge to live differently today.
Key words: Heaven, Hope, Vision, Joy, God’s presence, Eternity, Death

You would so moved by HEAVEN… THAT IT WILL CHANGE EARTH.
Location and condition are irrelevant to resurrection power.
What do we know of Ourselves in Heaven?
Surely Jesus intended us to envision both Heaven and Hell as real places where there are real people who came from Earth.
You and me on Earth are unaware of what’s happening in Heaven, but Heaven is not Unaware of what's happening on EARTH!
Talk it Over
1. “Where Are My Eyes Right Now?”
When you think about your daily worries, fears, or sources of joy, what do you notice they’re mostly centered on—Earth or Heaven? How has being overly earth-minded affected your peace, hope, or joy lately?
2. “Death Feels Personal—Why?”
Death often stirs fear, sadness, or avoidance in us. What emotions rise up in you when you think about your own death or the death of someone you love? How might those emotions reveal what you believe—or struggle to believe—about Heaven?
3. “A Body Planted, Not Lost”
Paul describes our bodies as a seed that is planted, not destroyed (1 Corinthians 15). How does that imagery challenge or comfort you? What fears about death or the future does this truth gently confront in your heart?
4. “Dust Doesn’t Limit God”
Philippians 3 reminds us that God transforms—not repairs—our bodies. Where have you doubted God’s power because something felt too broken, final, or irreversible? How does resurrection power reshape that perspective?
5. “Still Me… but Made Perfect”
In Luke 16, Lazarus and the rich man retain memory, identity, and awareness after death. How does knowing that you will still be you in Heaven change the way you think about eternity—and the value of how you live today?
6. “Heaven Is More Real Than We Think”
Jesus speaks of Heaven and Hell as real places with real people and real consequences. How does that reality confront a casual or distant view of eternity? In what ways might Heaven feel more “theoretical” than real to you right now?
7. “Do They Still Care?”
Scripture suggests those in Heaven are aware, engaged, and even praying (Revelation 6). How does the idea that loved ones in Heaven still care about what happens on Earth affect your grief, your hope, or your courage to keep following Jesus?
8. “Living Changed by Heaven”
The prayer of this message is that being moved by Heaven would change Earth. What is one practical way this week you could live with eternity more clearly in view—whether in how you love, forgive, give, or speak about Jesus?
