Series Description:
This Christmas, we’re stepping into a season of worship like never before. Here I Am to Worship is a four-part journey through the Christmas story — through Mary, the Wise Men, the Shepherds, and finally, each of us — learning what it means to come before Jesus with open hands and surrendered hearts. Their “yes” changed the world… and our “yes” still does. As we celebrate salvation, life change, and the movement of God in our church, we’ll rediscover the hope, healing, and joy found in wholehearted worship. God is writing something incredible in this season — and He’s inviting every one of us to play a part.
Here we are, Lord. We worship You.
Message Description:
If you’re carrying something heavy right now — a worry you can’t shake, a situation you can’t control, a prayer that feels unanswered — this message is for you.

This week we’re looking at Mary’s story in Luke 1, and how her quiet, courageous “Let it be” became one of the most powerful acts of worship ever recorded. Her story reminds us that sometimes the greatest worship isn’t a song… it’s surrender. It’s trusting God when life feels confusing, overwhelming, or just plain hard.

If you’ve been holding your breath, trying to manage everything on your own, come breathe again. Come find hope. Come let God meet you.

Let’s surrender the things we can’t carry… and find the peace only Jesus can give.

Key words: Christmas, Hope, Peace, Joy, God’s presence, Grace
Who’s ready to celebrate the Birth of Jesus!
Sometimes following God is causing us to be confused and disturbed.
Isn’t it easy for us to miss God’s will, even it was written in a book?
You don’t always have the power to control, but you do always have the power to surrender in WORSHIP.
Your surrender maybe the KEY that UNLOCKS SIGNIFICANT WORSHIP IN YOUR FAMIL!Y & in Others!
Mary didn’t invent a song — she simply sang Scripture.
“Amen” isn’t just a word — it’s an act of WORSHIP.
What is it that you’re trying to control, that God wants you to surrender in WORSHIP?
TALK IT OVER

1. Opening the Heart: Where Is God Moving?
What is one thing God did in your life recently — big or small — that made you pause and think, “He really is with me”?

2. Confused & Disturbed
Mary was “confused and disturbed” when God spoke.
Where in your life are you feeling confused, overwhelmed, or unsettled right now? How does that affect your trust in God?

3. The Control Question
We all have areas we cling to tightly.
What is one area where you tend to take control back from God? Why is it so hard to surrender that specific area?

4. A “Let It Be” Moment
Mary’s first act of worship was a surrendered “Yes” before she understood anything.
Describe a time when God asked you to obey before you had clarity. What did that “Let it be” moment produce in your life?

5. Worship Beyond the Song
Worship is more than lifting hands — it’s opening our hands.
Where do you feel God inviting you to worship Him not through music, but through surrender, trust, or obedience right now?

6. The Weight We Carry
“You don’t always have the power to control, but you always have the power to surrender in worship.”
Which burden in your life is wearing you down because you’re trying to fix it instead of surrender it? What would giving it to God practically look like this week?

7. Your Surrender Impacts Others
Mary’s surrender caused Elizabeth, her unborn baby, and generations after her to worship.
Who in your life might be impacted if you fully surrendered this one area to God? What blessing or breakthrough could flow from your obedience?

8. What’s Your Song?
Mary responded to God with a song rooted in Scripture.
If you wrote a “song of surrender” today, what would one line of it be? What truth about God would you declare?

9. Ending in Surrender
What is the one thing God is asking you to open your hands and release to Him today?
