4. Does not boast. (not boastful, vaunteth not itself, does not brag)
5. Is not arrogant. (is not proud, not puffed up)
6. Not rude. (does not dishonor others, does not behave unseemly, does not act disgracefully, does not act) improperly
7. Does not insist on own way. (not self-seeking, does not seek its own benefit)
8. Not irritable. (not easily angered, not easily provoked, not easily annoyed)
9. Not resentful. (keeps no record of wrongs, thinketh no evil, does not keep an account of a wrong suffered, it does not take into account a wrong endured)
10. Doesn’t rejoice in wrongdoing. (does not delight in evil, does not rejoice at wrongdoing, does not delight at unrighteousness, rejoiceth not in iniquity, finds no joy in unrighteousness)
11. Rejoices with the truth. (rejoices whenever the truth wins out, rejoices in the truth)
12. Bears all things. (always protects, never gives up, keeps every confidence, always supportive)
13. Believes all things.(always trusts, never loses faith, loyal)
14. Hopes all things. (always hopes)
15. Endures all things. (always perseveres, trusting)
16. Never ends. (never fails, charity never faileth, never comes to an end)
