Sermon Title: Let’s Live With the Urgency and Significance of the Cross
Sermon Text: Acts 20:17-38
Preparation Question: Why is the Gospel such an urgent message, and why does it matter if our lives are consistent with it?

Five “absolutes” from Acts 20:17-38 which call us to surrender fully to Jesus:
1. Absolute Integrity — A Life Fully Lived for Christ (v. 17–21)

2. Absolute Surrender — A Mission Worth Dying For (v. 22–27)

3. Absolute Responsibility — Shepherding the Blood-Bought Flock (v. 28–31)

4. Absolute Dependence — Entrusted to God’s Grace (v. 32–35)

5. Absolute Love — The Tear-Filled Goodbye (v. 36–38)

Response Questions:
1. Where might God be calling you to greater transparency and consistency between what you believe and how you live?
2. If the Cross demanded everything from Christ, what might it mean for you to give “your all” to the ministry or purpose He has placed before you?
3. Who is part of the “flock” God has entrusted to your care — in your home, workplace, church, or community — and how can you begin to care for “all” of them, not just the easy or visible ones?
4. Are you living in such a way that reflects Christ’s grace and urgency in your words and actions?
