3 Dimensions of COMMITMENT and the fruit it bears:

References to Israel being a Fig Tree: Jer. 29:17, Hos. 9:10, 16, Joel 1:7, Micah 7:1-6
A. Jesus is warning that work without fruit is a sign of DECAY.
B. Jesus curses the fig tree for having an appearance of LIFE but bearing none of the FRUIT.
2. The busy temple is a JUDGMENT to those who have a FALSE devotion.
A. Worship is not about a PLACE we go to, it’s about the ACCESS God has to our heart.
B. If our heart has abandoned the HONORING of God, our actions will forsake His PLAN.
3. The IMAGE of busyness often takes the place of true FAITH in God.
A. I can spot a true believer by not by their intellectual AGREEMENT but by the SUBSTANCE of their actions.
