We begin what we truly believe will be the most important series we have ever done in the life of our church—Difference Maker. This 6-week journey is about building a movement of God—it’s about Your Faith. Our Generosity. Their Forever.

For eight years, God has written a story at Real Life that only He could write—thousands of lives changed, over 177 baptisms, prodigals coming home. But we are convinced the next chapter will be even greater. Through this series, we will step into that future together, united in faith and generosity, believing God to do immeasurably more in our city and beyond.

That’s why we’re asking you to make every effort to be here for all six weeks. Don’t miss one moment of what God wants to do. This is a defining season for our church family—and your presence matters.

We’re stepping into something holy—our Difference Maker Initiative—a call to faith, unity, and bold obedience as we take ground for the next generation.

In this message, you’ll discover how:
- God uses ordinary people with extraordinary faith to build His Kingdom.
- Caleb and Joshua saw the same giants everyone else saw—but saw God’s promise instead of their problems.
- Fear will always whisper “not now”, but faith declares “let’s go up and take the land!”
- The only thing standing between us and God’s promise is the courage to believe He can do it through us.

This isn’t about a building.
It’s about eternity.
It’s about laying the foundation for generations who will know, see, and tell “the praiseworthy deeds of the Lord.”(Psalm 78:4)

1. Standing in a Holy Moment
- When you think about this season in our church, what makes it feel like a “holy moment”—a once-in-a-generation opportunity?

- How does it feel knowing God could use us to lay a foundation for what He’s about to do?

2. What Do You See?
- The twelve spies all saw the same land, but only Caleb and Joshua saw God’s promise.

- What are some “giants” or “obstacles” that are easy for you to focus on in your own life or in our church’s journey right now?

- What would it look like for you to start seeing those through the eyes of faith instead of fear?

3. Faith or Fear
- The ten spies spread fear, but two spoke faith. In what ways do you see fear spreading in our culture or even among believers today?

- How can you personally be a voice of faith that calls others to trust God?

4. Stepping Into the Promise
- Caleb said, “We should go up at once and take possession of the land, for we can certainly do it.”

- What’s one step of obedience or faith that God is calling you to take—even if it feels risky or costly?

5. “It Will Take All of Us”
- Pastor Sean said, “If not all of us participate, we’ll miss what God wants to do.”

- Why do you think unity and full participation matter so much in seasons like this?

- What happens when the people of God move together in faith instead of individually in fear?

6. Fasting & Dependence
- We learned that some things only come through prayer and fasting. What have you discovered about God’s presence or power through fasting recently?

7. Remembering God’s Faithfulness
- Caleb and Joshua remembered how God parted the Red Sea and crushed Pharaoh’s army.

- When has God shown up powerfully for you in the past? How could remembering His faithfulness give you courage to trust Him now?

8. For the Next Generation
- Psalm 78:4 says, “We will tell the next generation the praiseworthy deeds of the Lord.”

- What kind of spiritual legacy do you want to leave for the next generation?
How might your generosity or faith today impact people you may never even meet?

9. Missing the Moment
- Most of Israel missed their moment because they let fear decide their future.

- What are some ways we can make sure we don’t miss the moment God has set before us? Where do you sense God asking you to trust Him more deeply right now?

10. Bold Faith in Action
- “Faith isn’t just believing God can—it’s stepping out as if He already has.”

- How can you practically live that kind of bold faith this week? What does bold obedience look like for you in this season?

- This Difference Maker season is not about a building—it’s about a movement of faith and changed lives.
