Audience of One - Pt 4: Hungry for More
In a world obsessed with being seen, liked, and approved, Jesus calls us to live for an audience of One. In Matthew 6, He teaches us to give, pray, and fast — not for recognition, but for a deeper relationship with the Father who sees in secret. This series will challenge us to shift our focus from the applause of people to the approval of God, finding freedom, authenticity, and purpose in living fully for Him.

• It's not a hunger strike to manipulate God.

Too often, our appetite for the world is bigger than our appetite for the One who made the world.
Are you living for the recognition of people? Or are you living for the reward of the Father?
Fasting without purpose is just hunger. Fasting without prayer is just starvation.

Fasting is not about deprivation, it’s about devotion.

3. We fast to hear God’s voice.
4. We fast to repent and cut off sin.
5. We fast because Jesus expects it.

When you turn down the noise of your flesh, you turn up the volume of His Spirit.
Sometimes God will strip away what you thought you needed to show you what you can’t live without.
