APEST in the Life & Ministry of Jesus:

Jesus is the great apostle (Hebrews 3:1). He was sent into the world on a mission that initiated a worldwide movement.

Jesus was uncompromisingly prophetic, speaking to injustice and unrighteousness.

Jesus proclaimed good news to the poor and forgiveness for all sinners.

Jesus worked to include excluded people into God’s forever family. He’s the perfect expression of the Shepherd, in fact, the Great Shepherd of the Sheep. (Heb. 13:20)

Jesus taught people whenever and wherever He could – in crowds, with the twelve, one-on-one – and made it accessible and wise at the same time.

1. Jesus has not left us to build His kingdom by our own effort. He has poured out gifts on His church that are meant to be used to equip us in maturity and mission.

2. We see the world uniquely through the lens of the grace that has been apportioned to us. Never forget that someone else might be looking at the same thing through a different lens. When frustration arises, let it teach you, not divide you.

3. You will find that you will need to function in all of these giftings. Please lean in where you are strong, that’s primary. But invite the Holy Spirit to challenge you where you are weak.

4. You are seen and loved by God, so much so, that He has poured His best into you.
