Fear Not: The Real Story of Revelation | "The Harvests: Redemption and Judgment"
After the disturbing visions of the dragon and beasts, Revelation 14 offers a contrasting picture of hope: the Lamb standing victorious with His faithful followers. The chapter then depicts two harvests - one of redemption and one of judgment. This reminds us that history moves toward a definitive conclusion where God's mercy and justice will be fully revealed. For believers, this isn't cause for fear but for confidence. Today, we'll explore what it means to live as those already marked for the harvest of grace, singing "a new song" that only the redeemed can learn, while compassionately sharing God's invitation with those around us.

– Then something changed in the atmosphere… A song began to play.
– To the other team, it was a sign: you’re done.
– To the home crowd, it was a script: time to get loud.
– It’s a sign to the devil: your time is up.
– It’s a script for the Church: live like you’re on the winning team.
– On Mount Zion—the high place. The throne of Heaven (Rev 14:1)
– Revelation 13: the beasts rise from the sea and the earth.
– Jesus is above them—He’s on another level.
– You cannot fit Heaven into Hell. Hell is too small a place for the goodness of God.

– The devil wants us to think he’s winning, but he never even had a shot.
– When we feel surrounded and overwhelmed, we can remember what this story says
– Historical → What’s going on? , Theological → What does it mean?, Personal → How does it apply to me?
– We are often so hyper-focused on the historical and the theological that we lose sight of the personal. This is our story too, because we are the Church that John talks about!
– They represent the Church, across time and space… John was dreaming big, but he never imagined how big the Church could be today.
– They’re not just watching—they’re singing a new song. Living like the battle’s been won.
– In one word: spotless (Rev. 14:5).
– The Greek word is amomos—without blemish.
– We stand with God because we have been redeemed (v. 3). Because we know it means to be in need.
