This series is all about miracles and how they affected people not only on a physical level but a spiritual level as well. This week we learned about Jesus healing a crippled woman on the Sabbath. If you could have witnessed one of Jesus' miracles, which would it be?

What if our compassion for others outweighed our adherence to rules? How would that change the world?

Many religious leaders were upset that Jesus healed people on the Sabbath, a day set aside for rest. How can we balance our need for rest with the importance of prioritizing others?

Now as a group let’s pause to pray that eyes be opened to the suffering caused by systems that neglect the vulnerable, minds to be enlightened to the value of every human life, and hearts to be softened towards those who are marginalized, oppressed, or in need of healing.
