The Bible doesn’t just give us surface stories—it gives us real people, raw moments, and a redemptive arc that only makes sense when we read the whole thing.
2 Timothy 3:16-17
What this series is all about:
· Taking another look at the stories we know by heart…
· Exploring the parts we’ve rarely heard told (the other ones).

The Bible and the Flood:
· “As it was in the days of Noah…” – Jesus in Matthew 24:37
· “By faith Noah…built an ark…” – Hebrews 11:7
· “…God waited patiently in the days of Noah…a few people, eight in all, were saved through water…” – 1 Peter 3:20
Genesis 6:8
Faith isn’t proven by results – it’s proven by obedience.
Genesis 9:11
God doesn’t give up on us, even when we blow it.
Common Applications from Noah’s Story:
· God Hears, Judges, and Extends Grace
· Faith Without Sight is Real Faith
· Scripture Anchors us in Who God Is

The flood could wash the ground, but it couldn’t wash the heart.
Brokenness runs deep. And it always leaks back in unless God does something deeper than just a reset.
God’s promises are real—but we still need His grace daily.
The Bible is so trustworthy because it doesn’t hide the mess.

1. Be Honest About Your Condition
2. Trust in the Greater Rescue
3. Keep Building in Faith
4. Receive a New Heart
