Christianity is not a religion, but a relationship…with Jesus.
If anyone suffers as a Christian, let him not be ashamed, but let him glorify God in that name (Christian).
1 Peter 4:16, English Standard Version (Emphasis added)
Love is the ultimate motivator!
If I could speak all the languages of earth and of angels, but didn’t love others, I would only be a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal.

If I had the gift of prophecy, and if I understood all of God’s secret plans and possessed all knowledge, and if I had such faith that I could move mountains, but didn’t love others, I would be nothing.

If I gave everything I have to the poor and even sacrificed my body, I could boast about it; but if I didn’t love others, I would have gained nothing.

Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud or rude. It does not demand its own way. It is not irritable, and it keeps no record of being wronged.

It does not rejoice about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out.

Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance.
1 Corinthians 13:1–7, New Living Translation
ἀγάπη
(pronounced ā€œAgapeā€)
Selfless, unconditional, sacrificial love.
I AM LOVED!
1. Jesus loves me patiently and tenderly.
The Lord is merciful and compassionate, slow to get angry and filled with unfailing love. The Lord is good to everyone. He showers compassion on all his creation.
Psalm 145:8–9, NLT
You are LOVED!
2. Jesus loves me selflessly and unconditionally.
God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners…. we have been made right in God’s sight by the blood of Christ…. our friendship (our love relationship) with God was restored by the death of his Son while we were still his enemies.
Romans 5:8–10, NLT (Emphasis added)
You are loved!
3. Jesus loves me with a love that sees the best in me.
For [I am] God’s masterpiece. He has created [me] anew in Christ Jesus, so [I] can do the good things he planned for [me] long ago.
Ephesians 2:10, NLT (Emphasis added)
You are God’s masterpiece!
You are loved!
4. Jesus’ love never gives up on me.
ā€œIf a man has a hundred sheep and one of them wanders away, what will he do? Won’t he leave the ninety-nine others on the hills and go out to search for the one that is lost?
And if he finds it, I tell you the truth, he will rejoice over it more than over the ninety-nine that didn’t wander away!
In the same way, it is not my heavenly Father’s will that even one of these little ones should perish.
Matthew 18:12–14, NLT
Nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love.… nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Romans 8:38–39, NLT
JESUS’ LOVE NEVER GIVES UP ON ME!
You are loved!
